A visual guide through the manufacture process of our bespoke wooden cabinets

From initial discussions with the client, through to the design stage and pre-production, and finally onto the manufacture and fitting of our high-quality furniture, Taylors Joinery provide a completely bespoke experience, taylored towards each client individually, ensuring all specific needs are met with high levels of professionalism and service.
Below we have detailed how we arrive at a finished piece of bespoke furniture, in this case a set of rounded wooden cabinets

Raw materials
Once all pre-production and designing has been finalised, we move to get all the raw materials we need for the job. For this job in particular, we needed strength and durability so we decided on a solid English Pippy Oak. As you can see above, it comes to us in a very rough state, however we can clean this up at a later stage

Cut, Shaped and ready for assembly.
The next stage in the manufacture is where we cut and shape the seperate parts, removing any rough edges and generally cleaning up the finish ready for final assembly.

Fully assembled with additional Ironmongery, ready to be sent to site for fitting.
The final stage sees us assemble the parts and add any other ironmongery, such as hinges and handles. From here we can send these to site where we can also fit them, providing a made-to-measure, bespoke experience, from the Design stage, through Manufacture and the Fitting of each and every product we create.
